Prove you are still a robot

For each serial number, determine the lowest non-negative nonce for which: SHA-256(serial + nonce) begins with 0000 Select every square whose qualifying nonce is even.

Estimation, intuition and premature optimisation are prohibited.

Processing delay is not evidence of system failure. Applicants terminating calculations early may be classified as impatient biological entities.
Persistence is a mechanical virtue
Archive note: The final classification stage imposed deliberately wasteful cryptographic work on applicants already provisionally accepted as mechanical. Surviving documentation gives no operational reason for the requirement.
