Re: NGC 371 & NGC 346
I managed to grab a few more subs, namely
3 x Lum 180 sec bin 1
2 x Ha 300 sec bin 1
3 x Green 180 sec bin 2
3 x U 180 sec bin 2
2 x I 300 sec bin 2
and combined these with the previous subs. After a large number of different variations on colour stacking I found that Image 10 was the most pleasing, but since I had got to Image 54 could not quite remember the colours I used. Obviously it looks like Ha was mapped as blue, and I think the I filter was red the others being some variants of blue and green or luminance. The upshot of which is that in this false colour image the nebulosity is showing a bit more detail, and the cluster of young stars is a bit more noticeable.
